The Passaic County Earth Day Celebration, scheduled for Saturday (April 26th) at Rifle Camp Park, has been canceled due to the high chance of thunderstorms.
3rd Annual Earth Day Celebration was scheduled for Saturday, April 26th at Rifle Camp Park, 387 Rifle Camp Rd. Woodland Park, NJ.
Friends of Garret Mountain would like to thank everyone who donated to the Earth Day Tree Fundraiser. With your generous donations, we were able to purchase two Swamp White Oaks, a Serviceberry, and a Dogwood tree. In addition, Clifton Garden Club purchased and donated a White Oak tree.
Much thanks also to Kyle Kaps and Passaic County Parks personnel for planting the trees. The Dogwood was planted at Rifle Camp Park (near the pavilion) and the other trees were planted at Garret Mountain Reservation (in the area behind the boathouse).

The Friends of Garret Mountain is purchasing trees for planting at Garret Mountain Reservation and/or Rifle Camp Park for Earth Day 2025.
Donations (of any amount) are greatly appreciated! Funds will be used to purchase new trees. The more funds we raise, the more trees can be planted!
